I returned to Zion National Park yesterday to photograph the fall color in Zion Canyon. The color hasn't peaked yet, but high winds were forecast for today followed by snow tomorrow so I wanted to get here before the weather arrived. I stopped to photograph one tree not too far from the road, and then found another good subject, then found the Boxelder Maple in this image. I explored lots of compositions and finally settled on this one.
