We are thoroughly enjoying our time in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado, and the wildflowers this year are some of the best I've seen! This is a Barbey's Larkspur or Subalpine Larkspur (Delphinium barbeyi).

It's so nice to have a knee that I don't have to worry about as I comb the Alpine hillsides for good compositions. I wish I had gotten surgery on it a lot sooner!
