I had a nice time with two Gray Wolves (Gray Wolf, Canis lupus) yesterday morning in Yellowstone National Park. The gray one was feeding at a bison carcass when I arrived and then the black one joined it. They were just within shooting distance, neither one had a collar, and there was nice diffuse light for the second half of the encounter — fantastic!
