Jan and I hiked out to the Kohta Circus petroglyph panel yesterday afternoon. It's also known as Khota Circus and Kohota Circus. The panel is the largest in Nevada and the largest I've ever seen anywhere. It's about 25 yds (23m) wide and 6 ft (1.8m) high and is packed full of petroglyphs. The image above is just one small section near the center of it.

This image is near the end of the panel and shows a very unusual petroglyph. First, it shows an elk or deer instead of the much more common bighorn sheep. Second, the elk's tail is connected to a spiral further down the panel.
