I'm fascinated by the hard veins in sandstone that form ridges, and sometimes even fins, in the surrounding rock. They usually run roughly parallel to each other, but I found a set of intersecting veins yesterday in Valley Of Fire State Park that created a lattice-like structure. Enjoy!
