A fantastic band of popcorn clouds moved over Valley Of Fire State Park yesterday morning and I happened to be in the right place to make this image shortly after the sun crested the horizon. By getting down low and close to the erosion pattern, I was able to create a striking foreground element, and the tilt motion of the Canon TS-E 17mm f4 L tilt/shift lens allowed me to get the whole scene in focus.
