Here's another favorite image from my photo safari to Tanzania this past February. The lappet-faced vulture pair arrived at a kill where we were photographing the African white-backed vultures and RüppellÂ’s griffon vultures that were fighting for position and actively feeding. While the lappet-faced vulture pair waited for their turn, they took advantage of the time to smooch.
