We've moved over to the Columbia River Gorge to photograph some of the many waterfalls in the area. Yesterday afternoon we hiked up to Fairy Falls. It's one of the smaller falls in the area but a lot more photogenic than the larger ones because it's tiered instead of one long plunge. By getting close to the base with my wide-angle Canon TS-E 17mm f4 L tilt shift lens, I could incorporate the fall leaves and rocks at the base of the falls as a significant part of the composition.
