I photographed this Red-Breasted Merganser with two chicks near Skötufjörður in the Westfjords. It took quite a while for them to all get in a line in roughly the plane of focus.

I photographed this harbor seal or common seal seal on the Vatnsnes peninsula in the northern part of Iceland. It was on a nice rock close to the beach and posed nicely for us.
