We moved over to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota, another area with badlands. I made this image late last evening when the area was in the shade after the sun had set behind this hill. The diffuse light provided even illumination without any harsh shadows.

And the iron streak shows up even in the lightest areas! Well captured. I grew up in a city in Ontario that has a lot of iron in the water; great water but always somewhat reddish brown.
