We're spending a little time in Yellowstone National Park, and the wildlife activity is very slow. The bison are rutting, but not much else is happening. Conditions were good yesterday afternoon to do some landscape shooting, so we spent some time at the Norris Geyser Basin and Gibbon Falls. I particularly liked Gibbon Falls for the detailed views. The original capture was practically monochromatic, so I knew that I was going to convert this image to black-and-white.

Gorgeous shot and it's interesting to see an image from the 70-200 with the 2x.

Thanks for your recent comments Kris. I've found that the 70-200 f2.8 IS II with the 2x III is significantly sharper than the 100-400, hence the "odd" lens selection for this image.
