One of my favorite national parks in the US is Glacier National Park in Montana. The rugged mountains, lakes, wildflowers, and wildlife provide a broad spectrum of subjects to photograph. I particularly enjoy photographing the cascades along Baring Creek. Whenever I photograph cascades or waterfalls, I balance the flowing water with something solid, usually boulders. In the image above, I isolated a very small section of a small waterfall, and the "anchor rock" is completely covered by water — an experiment that turned out well.
